Inventor:

Steam pins and medals designed by Bernard V. Maets. Used to reward workers in his steam shop. Made primarily from brass gears, keys, and gauge parts.

Recovery Site:

Discovery and recovery continues at the shop complex in southeast Wisconsin used by Bernard V. Maets from 1878 to 1907. Many crates of miscellaneous parts have been obtained by the foundation. The pins and medals date back to the thirty years Maets worked on his major inventions. Some of the medals were recovered with the weapons featured elsewhere in this site.
