26.6 lbs / 18” W x 25” H x 10” D

Inventor:

Steam Chrono Purifier designed by Bernard V. Maets.  Unfortunately, Bernard did not believe in patenting his work and our understanding of his incredible work is limited.

Type and Function:

The Chrono Purifier was designed by Bernard in an effort to remove chrono bubbles that collected while using some of his other time altering devices.  Alternately known as time loops, these chrono bubbles are created anytime the time traveler alters the past, creating an alternate future.  Drawing on his earlier experience, this unit was created while on travel in England at the Griffen & George Limit plant in Manchester.

Recovery Site:

Although it was known to exist, the Chrono Purfier was not seen until it appeared in 1976 during the Bicentenial Celebration in Philadelphia. Rountine preparations located a previously unknown crate in the basement of Independence Hall.

Back Story:

Time loops in the shop.

Principal Investigator:

This object has been recovered, studied and restored by Ed Kidera. Note from Mr. Kidera: “ To the extent that there do not appear to be any chrono bubbles in my shop, the device appears to be working.” Learn more about Ed Kidera
