Dual Lamp with Ipod Boom Box and charger designed by Bernard Maets. Mr. Maets specialized in a wide variety of weapons and tools using steam as the primary energy source. Bernard began building lamps in a variety of styles after a meeting with Thomas Edison. This is his first know Ipod Player.

Type and Function:

Dual lamps with an internal AC outlet to charge your Iphone or Ipod. The Ipod or other MP3 player of the same size slides in the box and is accessed by the touch screen.  Connect the charger and the speaker cable and you are ready to play your favorite tunes. The dual Edison bulbs give a warm light and are controlled by the dimmer valve on the front. The lid opens to access the cables and to insert or remove the Ipod.

Recovery Site:

Discovery and recovery continues at the shop complex in southeast Wisconsin used by Bernard V. Maets from 1878 to 1907. Many crates of miscellaneous parts have been obtained by the foundation.
