Inventor:

Steam time portal designed by Bernard Maets. Unfortunately, Bernard did not believe in patenting his work and our understanding of his incredible work is limited. Althought best known for creating steam powered weapons, Bernard actually create numerous other devices including time machines, canes, and more

Type and Function:

Originally, designed to provide a steam powered portal to another time. This unit had been stripped of its internal steam components by researchers working for John D. Rockefeller in the 1930’s and now only acts as a clock. It is believed that originally it was designed as a time differential viewer and not a transporter as believed by some.

Recovery Site:

John D. Rockefeller funded research into Bernard Maets’ work in the 1920’s and 1930’s until the research was taken over by the Maets Foundation. Due to poor recorded keeping the recovery site and the original condition of the unit is unknown.

Principal Investigator:

This object has been recovered, studied and restored by Ed Kidera. Note from Mr. Kidera: “I have found this item to be excellent at taking me into the future. On the other hand it does keep excellent time.” More about Mr. Kidera
